Roger Dilley

Pastor Roger is the founding pastor of The Rock. He is married to his true love, Vicki Dilley, who serves alongside him in ministry. They have 5 amazing children and 10 wonderful grandchildren and live in Fort Wayne. His background as a dairy farmer was followed by over 30 years in the construction industry. Much of this time— over 35 years now—have been spent in ministry. Prior to starting The Rock Church, he served in a variety of areas of teaching in the church, from teaching young children to teens and on to adults. Roger was also a worship leader for more than 20 years. His passion is for worshiping and honoring our Lord, as well as learning, discovering and teaching the truths of God’s Word, the Bible!

He was almost 40 when he answered the call for ministry and attended Bible College.

Following his schooling, Roger completed a pastoral internship and spent many months seeking God’s direction for next steps in ministry all while continuing to serve in the local church he was a part of. During that time, the Holy Spirit gave him a vision of starting a church, something he knew nothing about. With the help of the Holy Spirit, God led Roger and The Church on a miracle filled journey leading them to this present day of ministry. His heart for the ministry has always been to encourage others to love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength and to love each other. From the spiritual change that comes alive in people, Roger wants to see them reach God’s individually planned purpose that He has for each one of them. Roger says “there is no greater thrill than to see people grow in their relationship with the Lord and fulfill the destiny of God for them personally!  “Whether it’s a relative, a church family member or a friend, the greatest desire is for us to spend eternity together with the Lord!” Roger has been an Ordained Minister with Elim Fellowship since 2008.
